关于Asiimov涂装
Asiimov is the most recognisable finish in Counter-Strike. White panelling, exposed black joints and a hazard-orange accent — a near-future industrial look borrowed from science fiction's idea of what a tool should look like when it is designed rather than assembled. It arrived on the M4A4 in December 2013 and has been added to a new weapon roughly every other year since, which makes it one of the few finishes with a genuine release history rather than a single case appearance.
The name is a nod to Isaac Asimov, and the styling leans on the same clean-white robotics the author's work put into the popular imagination. That reference is doing real work: almost every subsequent "white plastic and a warning colour" skin in the game is measured against this one, and the community named the look after it long before Valve did.
What sets the family apart mechanically is that most of its members are born worn. The AWP and M4A4 finishes start at a float of 0.18, so neither can ever exist in Factory New or Minimal Wear — a Field-Tested Asiimov is the best condition that has ever been made. The scuffing is part of the design, not a defect, and it is the reason the family's price floor sits far lower than its Covert rarity would suggest.

- Why can't I find a Factory New AWP | Asiimov?
- Because none exist. The finish's float window starts at 0.18, which is already inside the Field-Tested band, so the AWP and M4A4 Asiimov have never been produced in Factory New or Minimal Wear. Any listing claiming otherwise is a different skin.
- How many Asiimov skins are there?
- Five weapons carry the finish: the M4A4, AWP, P90, P250 and AK-47. Each also exists in a StatTrak™ version, which is counted and priced separately.
- Which Asiimov is the cheapest?
- The P250 — it is the only member at Classified rather than Covert rarity, and it comes from a far more recent and more heavily opened case. The live prices on this page are the current answer.
